what to expect
NEWBORN SESSIONS
- Know that the studio is small and will be kept very warm to make sure your baby is comfortable.
- When including family/siblings I prefer to either start or end the session with those images. If you wish to include family/siblings please let me know at the time of booking.
- The average session lasts approximately three hours. They can be as short as two hours and as long as four.
- I provide everything needed for the newborn session (i.e., headbands, wraps, outfits, bonnets, ect)
- My style is very simple. Please review my portfolio and make sure the images that I capture are cohesive with how you would like your newborn images to look. If you are looking for something different let me know, I know many wonderful photographers and am happy to refer you to them.
- My main focus is capturing your baby’s features while they are oh so little.
- You will receive a link that will allow you to proof your gallery within three weeks of your photo session.
- You will then be able to select the images you would like and share the gallery with friends and family if you wish.
- Images will be made available for digital download
MATERNITY SESSIONS
- Maternity sessions typically last about an hour
- They can be in studio or on location
- I have a small selection of maternity dresses available to borrow during your session. Please check back to see images of dresses or contact me.
- You will receive a link that will allow you to proof your gallery within three weeks of your photo session.
- You will then be able to select the images you would like and share the gallery with friends and family if you wish.
- Images will be made available for digital download
MODELS
Emily Small Photography occasionally looks for maternity and newborn models. If you are interested in being a model please email hello@emilysmallphoto.com with what type of model session you’re interested in, a picture of yourself (maternity) and your due date. We keep an ongoing database so you’re welcome to submit your information at any time.
